CCTV & video
High-resolution surveillance designed to the project, commissioned against the plan and recorded on a system you can audit.
4K UHD coverage · Analytics & tracking · Audited retention

Perimeter and interior detection with a monitored path — so an alarm reaches a person who can act, not just a log file that no one reads.
Design · Supply · Install · Integrate · Maintain
An intrusion system works in layers. The perimeter notices someone crossing the fence. The building envelope notices a door or window being opened. The interior notices movement where there should be none. Each layer buys time, and together they give the operator a clear picture of what is happening.
We design the layers to the property and its routine: which zones arm at night, which stay live around the clock, who can disarm and where. Detectors are chosen for the environment — pets, air conditioning, curtains and heat all cause false alarms if the wrong device is used.
Then we design the path the alarm takes. To a keypad, to a phone, to the compound security office, to a monitoring centre — verified with video wherever possible, so the response is proportionate and fast.

At a glance
Fence-mounted, buried and beam-based detection for compounds and industrial sites.
Door and window contacts, glass-break and vibration detection.
Motion detection specified for the room, including pet-tolerant and dual-technology devices.
Areas that arm independently: the villa at night, the offices at the weekend.
Alarms paired with a camera view so the operator knows before responding.
Silent alarms from keypads, fobs and fixed buttons.
Multiple paths, so a cut line does not silence the system.
Arm, disarm and check the system from a phone where the policy allows.
Devices and panels that report if they are opened or removed.
A searchable record of arming, alarms and who did what.
Every project is composed from a small number of well-understood parts. These are the ones that matter for this discipline.
Fence-mounted detection
Vibration and strain sensing along the fence line.
Active infrared beams
Invisible barriers across gaps and driveways.
Microwave & radar detection
Volumetric detection over open ground.
Buried cable detection
Covert detection for sensitive sites.
Thermal & analytic cameras
Video-based perimeter detection — see CCTV & video.
Door & window contacts
The simplest and most reliable detector there is.
Glass-break detectors
Acoustic detection of breaking glass.
Vibration & shock sensors
For walls, safes and display cases.
PIR motion detectors
Passive infrared for rooms and corridors.
Dual-technology detectors
PIR and microwave combined, for difficult environments.
Curtain detectors
A narrow field across a window or facade.
Panic & duress buttons
Fixed or wireless, silent or audible.
Alarm control panels
The decision-maker: zones, partitions and users.
Keypads & readers
Arm and disarm with a code, card or fob.
Wireless devices
Where cabling is impractical, with supervised links.
Sirens & strobes
Local deterrent and notification.
Communicators
IP, cellular and dual-path alarm transmission.
Monitoring & apps
Remote status, alerts and control.
The path matters as much as the detector. We design for multiple transmission routes and video verification, so the alarm that arrives is one worth acting on.
Detector
A perimeter, envelope or interior device senses an event
Zone & partition
The panel knows which area, and whether it is armed
Control panel
Confirms, filters and decides
Verification
A camera view or a second detector confirms
Notification
Siren, keypad, phone, security office or monitoring centre
Response
A person acts; the event is logged
Safe & Sound carries every discipline, so this system is designed from day one to talk to the others on the project.
CCTV
An alarm zone calls up the nearest cameras and stores pre-alarm footage with the event.
Access control
Arm and disarm with the same credential used at the door; the last person out arms the building.
Smart home & KNX
Alarm states switch lighting scenes, close shutters and appear on the home interface.
Command rooms
Compound-wide alarms are shown on a map for the security office to dispatch.
Intercom
A verified alarm at the gate can open a two-way channel to the visitor.
A typical sequence
The family sets the night partition from the bedroom keypad; the perimeter and the ground floor arm.
A contact opens on the garden door at 03:10.
The nearest camera shows the terrace; the security office and the owner's phone are alerted.
Lighting scenes come up, the siren sounds, and the guard on duty responds with the picture in hand.
Intrusion detection earns its place wherever there is something worth taking and hours when no one is watching: villas and compounds, offices and retail after closing, factories and petroleum facilities, and government sites with a real perimeter.
A deliberately narrow stack, supplied through authorised channels only. The final selection is made per project, against the specification and the budget.

For intrusion detection we work with Bosch and Honeywell panels and detectors, Hikvision and Dahua for integrated alarm-and-video systems, and Axis for video-based perimeter detection.
Risk assessment and walk-through, a layer-by-layer detection plan, zone and partition schedule, detector selection per environment, arming and user policy, and alarm path and verification design.
Panels, detectors, keypads and communicators from authorised channels, serial-registered, with wireless links surveyed before ordering.
Devices sited and cabled to the plan, walk-tested zone by zone, false-alarm sources removed, transmission paths proven end to end, and users trained on arming.
Zone schedule, as-built drawings, user and code register, alarm response plan and a lifecycle plan for batteries and devices.
Scheduled walk-testing of every detector, path and battery checks, user list housekeeping and a report of what was found.
We stay involved after handover. Every system leaves us with a maintenance path, a named point of contact and a report you can read.
An alarm system that is never walk-tested is a guess. Detectors drift, batteries fade and buildings change; we test the layers, the paths and the people.
